MANDATE OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

  1. Identify and develop partnerships and collaboration between the institute, the public and private sectors both locally and internationally with respect to research initiatives of mutual benefit
  2. Sourcing for research grants and transmitting the information to an interdisciplinary team for proposal development in line with the call theme and ensure regular reporting to both parties on grant proposal status and results
  3. Coach and mentor the new research team to help realize their developmental potential and identify additional training needs where necessary
  4. Regular communication of all institute activities and opportunities for all stakeholders’ information and involvement through print and e-newsletters
  5. Design, develop and maintain the institutes website and oversee all the content production, media communications, and social media interactions for online visibility
  6. Overseeing the writing and editing of event scripts, speeches, promotional materials, press releases, interviews and any other external communications.
  7. Produce high quality reports, papers and articles of a publishable standard based on the analysis of data and literature with a clear and engaging writing style.
